Tour de Peaks: Cruise the Snoqualmie Valley in family bicycle event

The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Tour de Peaks is back for its 22nd year on Sunday, August 15.

Originally created to commemorate the city of Snoqualmie’s Centennial, the ride continues to provide fun for the whole family over twenty years later. The ride includes 70-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 10-mile and six-mile options.

Tour de Peaks is a cooperative ride, not a competitive race. The event held in conjunction with North Bend’s annual parade and community celebration, the Festival at Mount Si. it is presented by the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Participants can enter a drawing for a chance to win a Giant Defy 2 adult road bike (valued at $1,100) or a Giant XTC JR 24 youth mountain bike (valued at $360) from Rattlesnake Lake Cycles in North Bend, and prizes including golf for four at Mount Si Golf Course

All rides start and finish at the Festival site at Si View Community Park, 400 S.E. Orchard Dr. in North Bend.

Early registration for adults is $25 before July 15 and $35 after July 15 and day of event registration. Children under the age of 13 ride for $5, and children under the age of 3 are free. Registration includes light snacks at rest and water stops, and for a small additional donation, a pancake breakfast is offered, sponsored by Sno-Valley Kiwanis. Check in is 7 to 10:30 a.m. on the day of the race.
