Sno-Valley seniors lose thier director

Letter to the Editor

A group met Friday afternoon at the Senior Center in Carnation for

cake and coffee, and to say goodbye to director Joe Wolf and to wish him

well in his new endeavor. Joe entertained with songs and his guitar, which

will be greatly missed.

Joe, we are also going to miss you when we need something moved

or hauled in your pickup. It was real nice having a man around the Center

with a strong back. Also, when the plumbing caused a problem, a light

switch or thermostat needed fixing, or if we needed someone in the kitchen.

A kettle of homemade soup or your good spaghetti will be missed.

We want to thank you for helping to get us in the black and also for

the grants you have written. Each time we look at our new chairs and tables,

we will think of you.

Thanks for all the hours you put in on the Ben Jones Memorial

Golf Tournament to benefit the Center, and save July 14, 2000, because we

will need your help.

Last but not least, we will miss your singing and being Elvis.

Thanks for all you’ve done and good luck. We will miss you.

Isabel L. Jones
