Smashed windshield, beers in the ride, spiked smoking pipe: Weekly Snoqualmie Valley police, fire blotters

Beers on the seat: On March 26, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle with a broken tail-light in the 8000 block of Maple Avenue in Snoqualmie, and stopped the vehicle. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license, and was found to have a six-pack of beer on his passenger seat, with four beers gone.

Monday, March 28

Windshield smashed: At 10:40 a.m., a caller reported that someone had smashed in the windshield of his car. The vehicle had been parked on the street in the 100 block of West Third Street. There are no suspects.

Saturday, March 26

Smoking pipes: At 11:16 p.m., an officer stopped a group of people for a pedestrian violation in the 100 block of West Second Street, and saw they had drug paraphernalia. One suspect destroyed a glass pipe by spiking it into the ground.

Suspicious walkers: At 3:30 a.m., police observed some unknown people leaving the John Wayne Trail at Southeast North Bend Way, in the pouring rain. No contact was made.

Suspended license: At 3:50 p.m., an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle with a broken tail-light in the 8000 block of Maple Avenue, and stopped the vehicle. Unknown walker: At 10:16 p.m., a caller reported seeing a person in the wooded area behind her home in the 34800 block of Southeast Leitz Street. Police did not locate the subject.

High anxiety: At 3:56 p.m., a caller reported that three teenagers and an adult were smoking marijuana in the back alley of the 8100 block of Park Avenue. An officer responded and contacted the suspects, but found no evidence of drug use.

Thursday, March 31

Headache: At 12:16 p.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) were dispatched to Douglas Avenue for a patient with a bad headache. The patient was evaluated and left at home to follow up with family doctor.

Wednesday, March 30

Sick woman: At 3:47 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casio for an ill woman. She was evaluated and advised to go see her doctor at her earliest convenience.

Blow-out: At 7:55 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the Shell gas station for an injury from a blown-out tire. One patient was treated on scene and transported to a hospital for treatment.

Sickness: At 5:48 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were called to Fairway Ave for a sick patient.  The patient was evaluated on scene and transported to a hospital.

Soccer injury: At 7:40 p.m.,  Snoqualmie EMTs were called to Meadowbrook Way for a soccer injury. One player was treated on scene and transported to a hospital for treatment.

Heart problem: At 9:16 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue Paramedics were dispatched to Carmichael Street for a cardiac patient. One person was evaluated on scene and left in the care of family.

Tuesday, March 29

Knee injury: At 8:36 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were called to the Snoqualmie Casino for a fall patient with a knee injury. The patient was evaluated and transported to the local clinic by casino staff.

Monday, March 28

Chest pain: At 10:20 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were called to the Snoqualmie Casino for a patient complaining of chest pain. One patient was evaluated and transported to the hospital for further care.

Fall: At 3:36 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Silent Creek Avenue for a fall. One patient was evaluated on scene and left at home in the care of family members.

Patient transport: At 7:50 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue Paramedics were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for a patient transport to another facility. One patient was transported to the hospital by Bellevue Paramedics.

Medical call: At 8:57 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.

Medical call: At 10:18 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue Paramedics were dispatched the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
