Valley Merchants strut their stuff

The Valley Merchants Class D women's slow-pitch softball team ended another great season. Its record included two first-place finishes, one second, one third and two fourths, as well as a second-place title in the state tournament. The second at state gave the team the opportunity to play in the national tournament held in Salem, Ore.
