I am writing to pledge my support for the Riverview School

District Technology Levy. I am the mother of three children, all attending

Riverview schools. In my opinion, it is crucial to their future success — whether in

college, or in a career — to have a solid background in computer use and

application.

Currently I am completing my degree at UW and I know how

essential it is to be able to utilize the many

available technological tools. Professors simply assume that their students

have a comfortable working knowledge of the technologies — from simple

word processing, to PowerPoint presentations, to complex statistical

analysis and research techniques.

Our children need to be competitive in today’s world. These funds

will be used for essentials, not for luxuries.
