Chili feed, auction helps Valley Animal Partners

Valley Animal Partners raises funds for its pet spay and neuter program with a chili dinner and dessert auction, 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Sno Valley Eagles lodge, 8220 Railroad Ave.

Ten local cooks are donating chili for the dinner, with three celebrity judges, including North Bend Mayor Ken Hearing and Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson choosing the best chili cook in several categories.

Once dinner is under way, the dessert auction will begin, and diners can bid on a large variety of dessert items donated by Valley bakers.

Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for children ages 6 to 12.

Advance tickets are available at U-Dirty Dog, 301 W. North Bend Way, and Renaissance Pet Boutique and Spa, 213 Bendigo Blvd. N., North Bend.

All proceeds help Valley Animal Partners’ spay and neuter assistance fund helping North Bend, Snoqualmie and Fall City.
