The Snoqualmie Valley School District is closing in on a final decision for changing its middle school boundaries. Two of the original five options presented to the public have been selected for further board review, along with a new option, developed with community feedback received Oct. 9 to 16.

The three options have been posted to the school district website (www.svsd410.org/districtinfo/newspubs/news.asp?DistrictNewsID=810), along with a link to another public survey. The options will also be discussed at public meetings this week. The meetings are 6 p.m. Tuesday at Chief Kanim Middle School, and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday online (www.svsd410.org/districtinfo/E-Meetings/Live.asp).

More than 1,500 middle school students are expected to attend one of the district’s two middle schools in 2013-14.
