Already contested by neighbors, a North Bend soccer camp is coming under closer scrutiny by King County.

Already under the notice of the King County Ombudsman, the county’s Department of Development and Environmental Services (DDES) agreed to put the proposed camp’s soccer field through a public comment period under State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) requirements.

Meanwhile, King County Councilwoman Kathy Lambert, who represents the Valley, planned to visit the site on Tuesday, May 6.
