Fire departments in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following last week:

Fall City Fire District
Wednesday, Feb. 16
Fire alarm: At 6 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to Fall City Elementary School for an automatic fire alarm. They found that the alarm was accidently pulled while a student was trying to find the light switch in a classroom. The alarm system was reset and a school employee was contacted to bring a replacement part for the pull station.
Weakness: At 6:08 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Eastside Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the 4000 block of 332nd Avenue for a 77-year-old man experiencing general weakness. Fall City Fire Department split up their crew, and sent two of their members to the aid call while the other two stayed at Fall City Elementary to deal with the automatic fire alarm. The man had an irregular heart rhythm. A private ambulance transported him to Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

Tuesday, Feb. 15
Possible stroke: At 2:56 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 8600 block of 384th Avenue Southeast in Snoqualmie for a 75-year-old man with stroke symptoms. EMTs evaluated the man on scene. A private ambulance then quickly transported him to Overlake Hospital for further treatment.

Monday, Feb. 14
Bleed: At 10:44 a.m., Fall City Fire Department and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 26600 block of Southeast18th Street for a 92-year-old man who was experiencing a bleeding problem. EMTs began treating the patient on scene. A private ambulance then transported him to Overlake Hospital for further treatment.

Sunday, Feb. 13
Weakness: At 3:52 p.m., Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to the 32400 block of Southeast 44th Street for a 58-year-old man experiencing general weakness. EMTs evaluated, and began treating the patient on scene. A private ambulance then transported the patient to Overlake Hospital for further treatment.
Heart problem: At 11:30 PM Fall City Fire Department, and Bellevue Paramedics responded to the 33600 block of Southeast 43rd Street for a 64-year-old man with an irregular heart rate. Upon arrival, EMTs found the patient to have a very rapid heart rate. Paramedics were cancelled prior to arriving on scene due to the patient’s stable condition. A private ambulance then transported the man to Overlake Hospital for further treatment.

Thursday, Feb. 17
Fall: At 2:44 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 77-year-old woman who had fallen. She was not injured, and was left at the scene with family.

Tuesday, Feb. 15
Medical call: At 1:36 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by a private ambulance.
Medical call: At 2:48 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Mount Si High School for a medical call. One patient was treated and then transported to the hospital by a private ambulance.
Medical call: At 2:57 p.m., Snoqualmie and Fall City EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie downtown area for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by a private ambulance. 

Monday, Feb. 14
Faintness: At 8:35 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were assisted by Bellevue Paramedics for a 67-year-old man who was feeling faint on Snoqualmie Ridge. He was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Electric issue: At 9:34 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to Kaleetan Loop for an electrical problem in a residence. Power was secured and the homeowner was advised to contact an electrician.
Student eval: At 9:52 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were requested by Snoqualmie Police to respond to Mount Si High School for an evaluation of a student. The teen was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Allergy: At 10:53 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Cascade View Elementary School for a 6-year-old boy experiencing an allergic reaction. The student was evaluated and left in care of family on-scene.

Sunday, Feb. 13
Diabetes: At 1:52 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for an intoxicated 52-year-old man experiencing a diabetic problem. After evaluation, it was determined that the family was unable to care for him and he was transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Dizziness: At 9 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were called to the Snoqualmie Casino for an employee that was experiencing dizziness.

Saturday, Feb. 12
Weakness: At 1:43 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 58-year-old woman who was feeling weak. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Dehydration: At 7:46 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 77-year-old woman who was dehydrated. She was transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.
Fall: At 8:45 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 64-year-old woman who had fallen. She was back-boarded and transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car. -: CLEANED :-
