Dinner and fire safety

Sparky, the fire safety pup with the King County Fire District No. 27 in Fall City, waves to children during the Fall City Elementary Open House and Spaghetti Dinner on Thursday, Jan. 26. Sparky and the firefighters from Fall City were invited to the open house to help spread the message the school has been teaching the children about making connections in the community, as well as to continue a fire prevention message. The department visited the school in October 2005 to train the children about fire prevention. At the dinner on Jan. 26, Sparky asked them questions and handed out candy prizes.
