Bon voyage concert hails traveling Fall City handbell choir

The Rhythmics handbell ensemble will present a free public concert, 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Fall City United Methodist Church.

The Rhythmics handbell ensemble will present a free public concert, 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Fall City United Methodist Church.

The show is a ‘bon voyage’ concert prior to their July 3 flight to Chicago to begin a two week tour. They will be traveling in vans to New York City, on to Washington D.C., and back to Chicago. Some of their venues inclde concerts at St. Joseph’s College in Indiana, Jackie Robinson Park in New York City and Calvary Church on Park Avenue in Manhattan.

This elite group of ringers has toured the United States, Hawaii, Great Britain, Switzerland, France and Italy.They are the only handbell choir ever to be invited to perform a concert at the World Council of Churches in Geneva, Switzerland.

This group ranges in age from teens through twenties and is under the direction of Marion Querro. Tina Drain will travel with the group as a chaperone and driver.
