Investigators have made a positive identification on the body discovered last weekend in the Snoqualmie River.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the body found Sunday, July 13 by a group of waders is that of the 36-year-old Kirkland man who disappeared June 30 while floating down the Snoqualmie River.

Curtis Hall disappeared when his inner-tube flipped after entering an area of rapids. Hall was tubing south of the falls with a group of four friends. He was not wearing a life jacket.

A spurt of warm weather in late June led to dangerous conditions on the river.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey Web site, river conditions are now at normal July water levels.
