A valiant prince charming

Food, fun and fanfare: Kate (Ariel Swatez) guards her heart against the charming Petruchio (Josh Hubanks) in Snoqualmie Middle School's rendition of "Taming of the Shrew." The play was part of the school's second annual Medieval Feast for seventh-grade students. Students got into the spirit of the times by creating their own costumes and decorations. There were also several artistic projects on display for family and friends to view. Guests were entertained by The Players in Shining Armor, King George's Dancers, Lord Snavely's Singers, Mistress Hubank's Bonfire Dances and the "Sword in the Stone" performed by Troupe d' Talmadge. Later, guests feasted on chicken, rolls, soup and cheese which they ate with their bare hands, of course.
