Sunday, Dec. 4
Name Game: At 2:34 a.m., two Snoqualmie police officers stopped two vehicles in the 9200 block of Railroad Avenue, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, and both drivers gave the same false name and date of birth. After several tries, both drivers gave their real names. One was arrested and booked into jail for driving while intoxicated, the other, for driving with a suspended license and giving false information to a police officer.
Friday, Dec. 2
Almost Home: At 1:30 a.m., an officer was inside a business in the 8200 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast when a vehicle pulled into the parking lot and parked diagonally in a handicapped parking space. The vehicle had no handicapped license plate or placard, and the driver, when he saw the officer inside the store, backed out of the spot and drove off eastbound on Falls Avenue. The officer followed, observed the vehicle run a stop sign and turn without signalling. When the driver parked in a driveway, the officer contacted him, and he failed several field sobriety tests. He refused to give a breath sample, which results in a one-year suspension of his license, but he said he didn’t need to drive any more. He was arrested and booked into the Issaquah Jail.
Smoking Juvenile: At 7:58 a.m., an officer found a high school student smoking a cigarette near Falls Avenue Southeast and Southeast Epsilon Street. The officer contacted school security, which confiscated the tobacco and lighter, and disciplined the student.

Friday, Dec. 2
Shoplifting Group: At 5:01 p.m., an employee of a business in the 400 block of South Fork Avenue South called police to report that about an hour earlier, four men had entered the store together and shoplifted.
Needs Repairs: At noon, a woman called police to report vandalism to her car the previous night. She said she’d parked the car at a business in the 1200 block of Bendigo Boulevard North, locked it, and left her keys in the drop box for the business to pick up the next day. The business called her the next day to tell her about the damages to her vehicle.
Thursday, Dec. 1
Found Marijuana: At 7:30 p.m., a customer at a business in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard discovered a plastic bag of green vegetable matter. She called 9-1-1 to report the suspected marijuana to the police, and turned the bag over to the responding officer.
Check Fraud: At 1:20 p.m., a resident called police after being notified by the North Bend branch of Bank of America that seven checks had been cashed on his account, all made out to the same payee. He told police the checks had been forged.
Fall City Fire Department
Wednesday, Dec. 7
Car accident: At 10:05 a.m., Fall City firefighters and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the 36100 block of Fall City-Snoqualmie Road for a two-car head-on motor vehicle accident. Three patients were treated for injuries, and transported to a local hospital.
Tuesday, Dec. 6
Stroke: At 5:55 p.m., Fall City fire crews responded to the 33500 block of Southeast Redmond-Fall City Road for third-hand reports of a woman possibly experiencing a stroke. She was treated, and then transported by a private ambulance to a local hospital.
Monday, Dec. 5
Chest pain: At 9:27 a.m., the Fall City department responded to the 4500 block of 330th Place Southeast for a 77-year-old woman with chest pain. She was evaluated, and left at home.Breathing problem: At 6:30 p.m., Fall City firefighters and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 32400 block of Southeast 43rd Place for a 50-year-old woman experiencing shortness of breath. She was evaluated, and left at home.
Sunday, Dec. 4
Breathing problem: At 3:42 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Bellevue Paramedics responded to the 4500 block of 362nd Avenue Southeast for a 70-year-old man experiencing shortness of breath. He was treated, and transported to a local hospital.
Saturday, Dec. 2
Head pain: At 1:41 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 33600 block of Southeast Redmond-Fall City Road for a 53-year-old man experiencing severe head pain. He was treated, and transported to a local hospital.
Cut hand: At 11:36 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the intersection of Fall City-Carnation Road and Neal Road Southeast for a 36-year-old man with hand lacerations. He was treated, and left with King County Sheriff’s officers.
Friday, Dec. 1
Breathing problem: At 3:53 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 7500 block of 337th Place Southeast for a breathing difficulty. Smoke: At 10:04 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4300 block of 337th Place Southeast for reports of smoke in the area. Firefighters identified the source of the smoke as the chimney, and found no fire danger.
