I am writing to support Judge Mary Ann Ottinger’s bid to retain her seat as a King County District Court judge.

I have worked with her for many years on a professional basis and appreciate the knowledge, dedication and personal involvement she brings to her courtroom. She is tough and compassionate – as appropriate – and is invested in protecting public safety. She holds offenders accountable for their actions while encouraging them to get the treatment or counseling they need.

She has served the community well and should be rewarded with another term as a district court judge.
