Fast feet to hit the Valley in Cinco de Mayo races

The Cinco de Mayo half-marathon, 8-K footrace and children’s mile run returns to Snoqualmie on Saturday, May 3. All events start and end at Mount Si High School. The entry fee for the half marathon is $65, which includes a shirt and prize for all finishers. The entry fee for the 8k is $28 which includes a shirt. The kid’s mile costs $15 and includes a shirt and finisher’s medal.

“The half marathon is the perfect test for those not quite ready to tackle a full marathon but who are looking to upgrade from the shorter 5k and 10k races,” said Sean Sundwall, race director and founder of Run Snoqualmie. “This course was designed to offer runners a beautiful tour of our great Valley without all the hills and other distractions associated with the bigger, urban events.”
