The story titled “Ten apply for Snoqualmie City Council position” that ran on page A1 of the Oct. 20 edition of the Valley Record contained errors. Snoqualmie City Council member candidate Karen Harrelson was president of the North Bend Elementary PTA, but is not currently president of the PTA as stated in the story. That position is held by Barbara MacAndrew.

Harrelson is also a past vice president of the TPC Ridge Women’s Golf Club, not the current vice president. That position is held by Sandy Skoog.

The story titled “Unions give Valley residents a loud voice in political races” that ran on page A1 also had an error. The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 4028, the union that represents the Snoqualmie Fire Department, did not endorse Jeff Griffin for state legislature. The union did not make any endorsement in the race between Griffin and incumbent Jay Rodne.
