Burn ban lifted for King County Tuesday

With winds returning and pollution levels falling, Puget Sound Clean Air Agency ended its stage 1 burn ban for King County at noon Tuesday, Dec. 2. The ban had been in effect since November 30 for wood-burning fireplaces, uncertified wood stoves or fireplace inserts.
