Local champions

The North Bend Storm finished their regular season undefeated, taking first place in the Eastside Youth Soccer Association Division 1 standings with a record of seven wins and three ties. The girls, coached by Tom Chase, Kevin Riley and Dewey Duvall, won their final game 2-0 against the Fall City Tree Frogs, who finished in second place. Dannah Parsons and Lexi Pearlstein scored the goals. Tandi Duvall and Alana Foster secured the shutout. The team will now enter the Turkey Shoot Tournament being held in Mukilteo, which they won last year.
