The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Tour de Peaks Bike Ride happens at a new time and for a new cause this Saturday, July 19.

Cyclists can ride 25, 50 or 100-mile loops in the Snoqualmie Valley, finishing at the North Bend Block Party.

The benefactor for this year’s race is the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Foundation’s Digital Mammography Capital Campaign.   Essentially the effort will help raise money to bring mammography technology to the Snoqualmie Valley and help the region detect and prevent breast cancer.

“We are really excited to partner with the Tour De Peaks Bike Ride this year and thank The Chamber of Commerce for their help raising money for our Digital Mammography Capital Campaign.  It’s a great way to raise awareness around breast health in the Snoqualmie Valley” said Eric Kaltenbacher, Executive Director of the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Foundation.

A 25-mile Intermediate, 50-mile Half-Century or the full 100-mile Century Route include close up mountain views, country roads, historic small towns, a refreshing river ride, and end at the big downtown festival.

“Our bike riders will finish their ride in Downtown North Bend to find a really fun block party taking place,” says Snoqualmie Valley Chamber CEO Nate Perea. “We hope they’ll want to stick around for a while and have some fun.”
