Police and fire agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls over the past week:

Tuesday, July 23
No rope: At 10:08 a.m., Snoqualmie’s Public Works Department reported finding a rope tied across the river, near the 3900 block of Southeast 53rd Street. Police contacted the subject who’d installed the rope, and she said she’d remove it that day.
Monday, July 22
Minor consuming: At 8:40 p.m., an officer patrolling near Snoqualmie Point Park stopped to check out a vehicle at the park entrance. He saw a young man on his hands and knees on the ground next to the truck, which was still running. The man appeared to be sick and when he spoke with the officer, he slurred his speech and seemed to be intoxicated. The driver said he’d had a mixed drink that wouldn’t get him drunk earlier in the evening, and was now waiting for his cousin to pick him up. The officer said he didn’t look old enough to be drinking, and he responded that he was a few months from turning 21. He also gave the officer a false name, which was discovered when he was arrested and fingerprinted at the station.
Loose load: At 11:36 a.m., a caller reported seeing a pickup truck at Southeast Snoqualmie Parkway and Railroad Avenue Southeast with an unsecured load. Someone was standing in the truck bed holding a mattress. Officers could not locate the truck.

Monday, July 22
Riding high: At 8 a.m., a caller in the 300 block of Bendigo Boulevard North reported the theft of his mountain bike, which he’d left unlocked, leaning against the wall of his home. He’d seen it earlier in the morning, he said. Police located the suspect, who also had more than 40 grams of marijuana in possession.

Work theft: At 5:07 p.m., a store employee in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard reported that someone had stolen the wallet from her purse in the store’s break room.
Saturday, July 20
Stolen purse: At 9:12 a.m., a citizens used the department’s online reporting tool to report the theft of her purse, which she’d left unattended in the outdoor seating area of a business in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard. The thief or thieves got the victim’s driver’s license, credit cards, checks, and car and house keys. Since the theft, they’d attempted to use the credit cards at various businesses locally and in Issaquah.
Friday, July 19
Stolen plate: At 8:24 p.m., a caller in the 700 block of Ballarat Avenue Northeast reported that someone had stolen the back license plate from his vehicle, which was parked off the street in a private driveway.
Hit and Run: At 2:31 a.m., police were called to a hit-and-run accident in the 900 block of Quartz Drive South. A driver had collided with an unoccupied car and then left the scene, but a witness was able to identify the driver.

Saturday, July 20
Car vs. motorcycle: At 6:16 p.m., police were called to a car-motorcycle collision in the 4600 block of Tolt Avenue. The passenger on the motorcycle was injured and was transported to a local hospital.
Drunk driving: At 1:16 p.m., an officer patrolling S.R. 203 near Northeast Stillwater Hill saw a vehicle speeding and swerving in and out of its lane, and stopped the driver, who turned out to be intoxicated. The man was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the King County Jail.
Thursday, July 18
License trouble, drugs: At 9:11 a.m., an officer patrolling Tolt Avenue stopped a vehicle in the 3700 block and arrested the driver for a driver’s license infraction. The vehicle was then impounded, awaiting a search warrant for narcotics.
Monday, July 15
Fight: At 10:32 p.m., police were called to a fight in the 4200 block of Regency Place. On arrival, the officer found a father and two sons in a heated argument.
Wire down: At 4:11 p.m., a caller reported that an electrical wire was lying in the road in the 4100 block of McKinley Avenue. Police notified PSE and marked the area with traffic cones during the repairs.

Monday, July 15
Monoxide detector: A citizen reported that a carbon monoxide detector was beeping and could not shut off. A crew proceeded to help, and found a low battery in the detector. They replaced the battery and solved the issue.
Saturday, July 13
Car accident: Snoqualmie Fire Department, assisted by Fall City Fire, responded to a reported motorcycle vs. van accident on State Highway 202 just west of the Salish Lodge. A vehicle reportedly pulled a u‐turn in front of another car, causing the vehicle in front of the motorcycle to brake suddenly. When this happened, the motorcycle rider had to lay the bike down to avoid a collision. The incident resulted in minor injuries to the rider, and he was left in care of Snoqualmie Police Department at the scene.
Medical calls: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to 18 medical aid calls, bringing the annual call number to 631.

Wednesday, July 17
Chest pain: At 3:20 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded with Eastside firefighters to the 8100 block of Southeast High Point Way for an RV fire, with a 54-year-old woman experiencing chest pain. The fire was extinguished by the Fall City team, and the woman was evaluated and treated by Bellevue Paramedics.

ATV accident: At 11:53 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded with Eastside firefighters to the 33000 block of Noutheast 70th Street for a 54-year-old man who was involved in an ATV accident. He was treated, packaged and taken to a trauma center by Redmond Paramedics.
Sunday, July 14
Chest pain: At 10:23 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded to the 31400 block of Southeast 97th Street for a 57-year-old man with chest pain. He was evaluated and taken to a nearby hospital by Bellevue Paramedics.
Saturday, July 13
Car accident: At 3:29 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded with Snoqualmie and Eastside Fire and Rescue to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. All patients refused treatment and were left at scene.
Friday, July 12
Structure fire: At 8:42 a.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded with Redmond Fire and Eastside Fire and Rescue to the 2500 block of Northeast 67th Street for a confirmed structure fire. All occupants were out of the house; the fire was extinguished.
Thursday, July 11
Rolled ATV: At 2:22 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded to the 33300 block of Northeast 50th Place for a 16-year-old girl who rolled her ATV. She was treated, evaluated and taken to a nearby hospital by Fall City’s aid car.

Breathing problem: At 11:29 p.m., Fall City Firefighter/EMTs responded to the 4700 block of 328th Way Southeast for an 80-year-old man having breathing difficulty. He was evaluated, treated and taken to a local hospital by Fall City’s aid car.
