The Northwest Railway Museum’s chapel car Messenger of Peace is currently in 10th place in the state the fifth annual Partners in Preservation grant online vote
The 10 top vote-getters will share $1 million, funded by the American Express Foundation.
Voting ends May 12.
“Please remember to vote for the chapel car today and every day,” museum Marketing Manager Sue Van Gerpen said. “We are in the top ten and every vote really does make the difference between being funded and not being funded. We need to remain vigilant. The cumulative effect of the next 15 days of voting will influence our chances of winning funding.”
Residents can vote once a day during the four week voting period.
The Northwest Railway Museum will host an open house featuring the chapel car, Saturday and Sunday, May 1 and 2.
