Thoughfulness sparks card of thanks

Letter to the Editor.

Many thanks to all my friends, co-workers, and family for the

support they have given me, and continue to give, during my surgery and

recovery. Thanks, too, to all who sent cards, flowers, gifts, and made visits

and phone calls.

Zetta, Pam, Cindy, and Joanie, thanks for the meals and

housecleaning. Joanie, your spiritual help has gotten me through some very

hard days. You can’t even imagine how much that means to me.

Thanks to many friends in the Snoqualmie School District who

donated sick leave. Each time I hear from you, I am overwhelmed with your

generosity. Carol, thanks for all the upbeat calls and delivering cards for me.

Caroline, you are the best mom-in-law anyone could ever ask

for. Thanks for keeping things “rolling” around here. Staci, you were surely

the Christmas angel. Without you, we wouldn’t have had a beautiful

Christmas that we all enjoyed. You have been with me all along, and I will never

forget this time with you.

Jer, my husband, friend and nurse, thanks for your nurturing care that

has filled me with joy. It hasn’t been easy for you, but you have done it

unselfishly. “In sickness and in health”

has really been put to the test around here, hasn’t it?

Once again, thanks. I love you all.
