Volunteers needed in January for Korea-to-Snoqualmie visitors

Several students will be arriving on January 7 from Snoqualmie’s sister city of Gangjin, Korea to attend Mount Si High School as part of an annual student exchange program. There will be special activities and field trips for the students throughout their visit to expand their understanding of our culture and explore the Puget Sound region. Volunteers are needed to assist with one or more of these activities. Residents or business owners who have an idea of how they can provide a unique learning experience are encouraged to share ideas with members of the Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association

Host families are still needed for two boys to be a home away from home from January 7 through February 1. The students will attend Mount Si High School during regular school hours, participate in activities and tours, and spend time with host families in the evenings and on weekends. All exchange students will have insurance and spending money.
