Meghan McCallum, a 2013 graduate of Mount Si High School, competed with the Gonzaga University's women's varsity rowing team in the West Coast Conference championships May 14. The team won the state title, and advanced to the NCAA championship May 29 in Gold River, Calif.

Competing against such schools as Ohio State, UW, Yale and Princeton, the team finished 16th overall.
