Leadership Eastside plans innovation summit April 12

At the 2016 Innovation Summit for the Eastside Civic Incubator, set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 12 at the Puget Sound Energy building in Bellevue, members of the community are invited to join leaders from business, non-profit, and public sectors to work together for the good of the entire region.

At the 2016 Innovation Summit for the Eastside Civic Incubator, set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 12 at the Puget Sound Energy building in Bellevue, members of the community are invited to join leaders from business, non-profit, and public sectors to work together for the good of the entire region.

Participants will collaborate in facilitated conversations to propose innovative ideas to address key issues in transportation, culture, basic needs, education, environment, wellness, the economy, and community building. They will then be invited to join a Community Impact Team of their choosing for continued collaboration on tough community challenges.

In the morning, Peter Rogoff, Sound Transit CEO, will cover news about the Eastside Light Rail Corridor. At lunch, keynote speaker, King County Executive Dow Constantine will bring additional perspective to the issues examined during the day.

Cost to attend the event is $150 with some scholarships available upon request.
