Human remains that could belong to a man who went missing last December were found on Saturday, June 4, at Kendall Peak near Snoqualmie Pass.
The King County Medical Examiner is working to identify the remains.
Friends of the missing man, a back country skier, were searching the Kendall Peak area over the weekend when they found the remains, including clothing that was consistent with what a back-country skier would wear.
King County Search and Rescue retreived the items.The King County Sheriffs Office said the cause of death is not known at this time and will not be released until the medical examiner can confirm the cause. The name of the person will also not be released until a positive identification can be made.
