Helen Louise Seay Tolley

Helen Louise Seay Tolley, 80, of Barnardsville, North Carolina, passed away May 24, 2010 at her home. Helen or “Sugar” as she was known by family and friends, was the daughter of the late Orville and Ethel Carr Seay. She is survived by sons, Earl (Cheryl) of Ellensburg, WA. Ray of Barnardsville, NC. and Ron (Julia) of Henderson, NV. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 5 sisters. She was preceded in death by husband, Brewster in 1973; brother, Wayne and sisters, Ruth and Dorothy. Helen spent many years traveling around the U.S. with companion, Paul Cook. They spent the majority of the time living in Nevada and Arizona.The family would like to thank everyone who had helped Helen the last few years of her life. With special thanks to all Health Care Personnel and the Barnardsville Fire Department. Helen will be greatly missed by her loving family. Interment will be in the Tolley Cemetery in Spruce Pine, North Carolina alongside her late husband Brewster.
