Loneta Gay Dawson

In loving memory of Loneta Gay Dawson, born November 5, 1935 in Butte, Montana and passed away December 22, 2009 in Shelton, WA. Gay was the daughter of Bus & Tana DesRosier and was raised in Snoqualmie, WA where she graduated from Mount Si High School. She is survived by her loving companion of 28 years, Richard Ray of Hoodsport, WA; 4 children, Karen Sutter of Renton, WA, Tracy Colombi of Marana, AZ, Terri Taggart of Cottonwood, CA, Dale Femling of Auburn, WA; brother, Robert DesRosier of Auburn, WA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Both Gay and Richard resided in Hoodsport since 1991 and previously resided in Renton where they both were employed by The Boeing Company. Gay’s last position for The Boeing Company was Contract Administrator. She was employed by Boeing for 29 years before retirement. Gay and Richard had a place in Sun City, AZ where they spent their winter months and their summers in Hoodsport. Gay loved the outdoors and she was an outstanding cook, who loved to entertain. She will always be loved and greatly missed. A memorial service will be held February 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mathews Church at 1700 Edmonds Ave N.E., Renton, WA.
