Geraldine Q. Hargraves

Geraldine Q. Hargraves of North Bend left this earth on December 30, 2009. Born in Sioux City, Iowa on August 18, 1925 where she lived until the Quilleash family moved to southern California when she was in 5th grade. She attended the University of California at Berkley during WWII.She married her husband Paul in 1945 and moved to Alaska at the end of the war. In 1954 they moved to North Bend where they raised their two sons. She worked for Boeing for over 25 years as a drafter. After retiring she owned and operated Gilman Village Books in Issaquah for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband. She will always be remembered for her positive outlook, strong faith, and gracious love for all. She is survived by her two sons, Mike and Sandy, his wife Marilyn, and their 3 children, Hunter, Morgan, and Hailey and her loving nieces, Pam, Michele, Nancy, Jane, Colleen, and Shannon and their families. The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16 at 3:00 pm at the Si View Community Center in North Bend.
