Sound Generations, serving the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation, is seeking volunteer drivers to provide a vital service to older adults, transportation.
Many seniors live alone and independently, because they can drive to the grocery store and run their own errands. Losing that ability is the concern of hundreds of older adults throughout the Valley.
You can help by joining the Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation program, which helps hundreds of older adults get to their critically important medical appointments. As the need grows, more volunteers are needed to ensure every senior has access to health care. Whether you have time to drive a senior every day, or just once a month, the program staff will work to accommodate your schedule and preferences.
