The new Crescent Market, located on the former site of the Snoqualmie Tobacco Company & Liquor Store, 37500 North Bend Way in Snoqualmie, officially opened its doors Monday, June 19.
The 6,500-square-foot market features 12 fuel pumps, a quick-service Crescent Kitchen restaurant, and a drive-through facility for tobacco customers.
The management team of the new store consists entirely of Snoqualmie Tribe members who began working for the Tribe in 2011, when the Snoqualmie Tobacco Company first opened. “These promotions from within demonstrate the Tribe’s commitment to developing its staff, and has established a clear ladder of opportunity,” says John Willson, Director of Retail Operations.
“The new Crescent Market at Snoqualmie creates new job opportunities and helps the tribe in its mission to diversify economically,” said Snoqualmie Tribe Vice Chairwoman Jolene Williams. “We are very excited about this new enterprise.”
Profit and tax revenue generated by the Crescent Market will support the tribe’s programs and services.
A grand opening is planned for Tuesday, July 19.
