Gregory Andrew Zemp passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Friday, July 14, 2017. He was 48 years old.

Greg is preceded in death by his father, Richard John Zemp. He is survived by his mother Rosanne Zemp; his brother Bryan Zemp (Jill Davidson Zemp); his sister Diana Zemp Eggers (Timothy Eggers); his nephews Christopher Zemp and Andrew Eggers; neices Kaitlyn and Jessica Zemp; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him.

Greg was known for his sense of humor and mischievous outlook on life. Growing up in North Bend, Washington, he often led his brother, sister, friends and cousins on adventures that sometimes resulted in trouble around the neighborhood and the occasional grounding at home. He loved the Snoqualmie Valley and cared deeply for the mountain property upon which his family lived, ultimately creating landscaping that included a complicated series of waterfalls and a putting green. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and loved Scouting. He was a graduate of Mt. Si High School (Class of ’86) and went onto graduate from Chapman College in Orange County, California with a degree in Political Science. He worked as an independent investor and in the family business. Although he did not have children of his own, he was very proud of his neices and nephews, working with them on homework projects, and occasionally creating some of his infamous adventures for them. Greg also enjoyed the country of Mexico and spent a great deal of time in the Cabo San Jose area where he could often be found fishing from the beach.

The Zemp family would like to invite those who knew Greg to celebrate his life on Friday, August 18 at 7:00 pm at the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, 36005 SE Ridge Street, Snoqualmie, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Encompass, a charity dedicated to providing critical services to Snoqualmie Valley children and families in need.
