Snoqualmie celebrated its 79th Railroad Days over the weekend, with pancakes and a parade, painters and pooches, classic cars, modern music, fun and games and everything else that a small-town celebration requires.
The weekend began brightly with firefighters cooking a huge community pancake breakfast at the fire hall, followed by the Railroad Days parade, featuring Grand Marshal Ed Wentz, riding in the historic Snoqualmie fire engine.
Events on the schedule for the weekend included timber sports shows by pro timber sports athlete David Moses and his team in Sandy Cove Park, living history demonstrations and artists at work in the gazebo and at Railroad Park, children’s activities in the Field of Fun at the Snoqualmie Depot, plus two stages of live music.
Sunday brought all of the weekend’s activities together, along with a substantial crowd with the Legends Car Show and fun awards.
