I am writing to encourage voters in the Snoqualmie Valley School District to vote for Melissa Johnson to join the school
As a community, we are fortunate to have a candidate of her caliber and dedication. Melissa Johnson has kids in the Snoqualmie Valley School District at Cascade View and Twin Falls, but her commitment goes far beyond the interests of her own children; she cares deeply about the quality of education for all students.
I have been fortunate to have Melissa in my life as an example of a strong, committed, caring person. She took an interest in helping me navigate various situations at school and to think about how I could get the most from my education while understanding what support I needed to be successful.
Not everyone has the same level of support system that I was fortunate to have with Melissa. She would bring that same thoughtfulness and commitment to the school board by advocating for the best opportunities for students, ensuring early and often awareness of what assistance is available, advocating fairly and passionately for families, teachers and administrators. She is a strong role model.
I highly encourage all voters in our district to vote for Melissa Johnson — to be an advocate for students, the voice of parents, supporter of educators and partner in fiscal responsibility across the administration.
