Gloria Graham, age 86, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Fieldstone Memory Care in Issaquah. She was born to Burley and Ann Lawrence in Enumclaw, WA, July 28, 1931. She moved with her parents to Snoqualmie Falls in 1942. Gloria married young which resulted in three children. She married again in 1959 and she and her husband Don had three more children. They moved to North Bend where they raised all six kids. Their home had an amazing view of Mt. Si and was a fabulous place to host family gatherings.
Christmas was one of the holidays where family would gather at Gloria’s home. Everyone looked forward to her homemade almond roca. She spent most of her working career as a Monet Jewelry Rep for Frederick and Nelson in Seattle. Gloria was a talented seamstress and made most of her two daughter’s school clothes, including dresses for her daughter’s wedding. After retirement, she and her husband Don spent winters in Arizona, and summers at their home in Chelan. Gloria spent countless hours working in her yard and tending to her precious rose bushes. Her mornings began with a walk at Riverfront Park and evenings on the deck looking at the lake. She enjoyed traveling and spoke often of the 2012 Alaska Cruise she took with her daughter Cheryl.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, son Ryan, and granddaughter Amy. She is survived by five children, Dave Anderson (Caren), Larry Anderson (Vicki), Cheryl Overman (Jeff), Dawn Graham, and Robert Graham (Ann), 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service date has yet to be determined.
