The American Cancer Society invites locals to be a part of the cure in the 2018 Relay for Life of Snoqualmie Valley event.

Community volunteers work side-by-side with the American Cancer Society to raise funds for research that has already brought remarkable advances in the treatment of cancer. Every single cancer advance in the last 50 years can be traced to American Cancer Society research funding.

The signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life is an 18-hour team relay event to raise funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer in Snoqualmie Valley. It’s also an 18-hour celebration of life honoring cancer survivors and caregivers.

The entire community is invited to take part in the festivities. This year, our theme is “Get on Board” featuring a life-sized Relay-Opoly game.

Local teams raise funds in the months leading up to the event where they camp out, taking turns walking or running around the path, which is lined by Luminarias. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times, while entertainment, music, and fun activities keep things lively. Symbolizing the battle waged around the clock by those facing cancer, our 18-hour event empowers communities and individuals to join the fight for a world without cancer.
