JACK SCHEIDEGGER

Lifelong valley resident Jack Scheidegger, passed away surrounded by his children on June 15, 2018 at the age of 81.

He was born on September 15, 1936 to Rudolf and Lena Scheidegger in Monroe WA and graduated from Tolt High School in 1954. After three years of service in the US Army, he went to work for the Weyerhauser Company. He retired after 47 years when the Snoqualmie mill closed in 2003. He spent his remaining years perfecting his procrastination skills and could usually be found reading.

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Nola (2007), son John Lakey (1990) and daughter Debra Patrone (2009). He leaves behind his sons, Chuck (Gloria) Lakey of Jacksonville, NC and Leonard Scheidegger of North Bend, WA. Also daughters Dana Lakey of Burien, WA, Trina (Dustin) Jones of Federal Way, WA as well as several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
