Ursula Sibylle Grosser, of Snoqualmie, Washington, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, surround by friends. She was 77 years of age.
Mrs. Grosser was born on July 5, 1941 in Gleiwitz, Germany, the daughter of Helmut and Maria Wiener. She was raised in Gleiwitz, Eichstaett and attended Eichstaett schools. She moved to the United States in 1961.
Ursula received her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and worked for the hotel and airline industries for several years and worked 34 years as an independent contractor for the French fragrance industry. She is an exponent of the work of Max Gerson, MD and of his daughter, Charlotte Gerson.
In 1972, Ursula married Axel Grosser in New York. In 1987, the family moved to Seattle Washington.
Throughout her life Mrs. Grosser was an avid outdoors person, walking, bicycling, and skating. With a special interest in holistic healing, she showed her passion and love for people. Ursula loved to travel, like a Gypsy, with her dog, Jockel, back and forth across the country. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister, Brigette Dovletian; niece, Anaheid Dovletian and nephew, Armen Dovletian, all of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Axel Grosser.
In lieu of flowers, Ursula would appreciate donations be sent to one of her favorite charities: Nature Conservancy, Greenpeace, The National Audubon Society, World Wildlife Fund, World Vision, Classical King FM 98.1, Seattle Symphony or National Public Radio.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Flintoft’s Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah. 425-392-6444.
