Encompass gala raises more than $460K

The nonprofit partners with families to build healthy foundations for children.

Some 400 guests raised more than $460,000 during the “Under the Stars”Autumn Gala fundraiser for Encompass programs and services.

Local radio personality and on-court entertainment for the Seattle Storm, Shellie Hart, was master of ceremonies. During the Fund-a-Dream portion of the live auction, family speakers April and Mark Bennett shared how Encompass Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and summer camp programs helped their family thrive.

One of the most popular live auction items this year was a new addition: a chef’s studio dining experience for 12 at Salish Lodge and Spa. The package raised more than $12,000 for Encompass in a matter of minutes.

Twenty-three (23) corporate event sponsors, including Brown & Sterling Attorneys at Law, Hutt Construction Inc., and Nintendo led the way in raising $460,000 for Encompass, which will directly support the pediatric therapy, early learning and family enrichment services that Encompass offers throughout the year.

Encompass is a nonprofit that partners with families to build healthy foundations for children, providing early learning, pediatric therapy, and family enrichment for children of all abilities in the Snoqualmie, Issaquah and Eastside communities. With two locations in North Bend and one in Carnation, Encompass offers programs for children from birth to eight years old and their families to help foster a community where all children thrive.
