Aug. 5

Malicious mischief: At 5:39 a.m. at Snoqualmie Falls, Snoqualmie officers and Snoqualmie Fire responded to a report of someone that possibly jumped over the Snoqualmie Falls. The drone was deployed and all areas were searched. No one was located.

Car prowl: At 9:30 a.m. in the 9000 block of Brinkley Avenue Southeast, a truck was prowled. The rear side window of the vehicle was broken out, but nothing appeared to be missing. Neighbors nearby have doorbell cameras. The investigation continues.

Uprooted plants: At 11:37 a.m. at Stellar Park, a chain on the gate to the community garden was cut and plants were uprooted. There was no suspect information available. Officers suggested the outreach manager enhance security there.

Warrant: At 3:09 p.m. in the 34000 block of Southeast Douglas Street, a car was operating with no front license plate. The officer approached the car and inside was an adult female with a baby in the back seat that wasn’t properly secured. A check revealed the woman had an active warrant out of Renton.

Aug. 6

Theft: At 1:18 p.m. at the North Bend outlet mall, two subjects were suspected of grabbing high dollar items and leaving the store. Officers spotted them on Interstate 90, attempted to stop them but the vehicle driver refused. Officers followed them into Bellevue but lost sight of them when they took an exit. A few minutes later Bellevue Police located the vehicle, but it was unoccupied.

Dog attack: At 1:37 p.m. in the 45000 block of Southeast 140th Street in North Bend, a father told police a pit bull attacked his son and him while outside their home. King County Animal Control will be reviewing the case.

Aug. 9

Stolen fishing gear: At 9:28 a.m. on Ballarat Avenue, someone stole fishing gear from a boat. Extra patrols will be conducted in the area.

Unwanted tenant: At 3:38 p.m. in the 39000 block of Southeast Park Street, a door to a home was open and transients were possibly occupying it. Officers arrived and discovered a woman was living in the home illegally.
