The close race for the Si View Metropolitan District Commissioner Position No. 2 has reached a conclusion.
Katie Klahn took the lead and the win over Mark Correira. Initial numbers showed Correira ahead by just 36 votes.
As of the Nov. 26 final vote count, Klahn had 50.11 percent of the vote to beat Correira with 49.5 percent of the vote. Klahn beat Correira by 27 votes.
“It’s been a surprisingly close race,” Klahn said.
She said she looks forward to seeing the development of Tennant Trailhead Park and being involved with the future of the South Fork Landing.
