COVID-19 testing resumes at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital

Testing had been suspended due to a national backlog for testing.

COVID-19 testing has resumed at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.

The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital COVID-19 testing site was set to reopen Tuesday, April 7. The hospital is providing a drive-thru service for testing that will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.

Testing is recommended only for those with current symptoms or a recent direct and unprotected exposure to a known positive case.

Registration forms will be delivered to waiting cars closest to the entry tent (and soon will be posted on the hospital’s website — www.snoqualmiehospital.org — for optional download and completion prior to arrival). To limit staff exposure, completed forms will be captured in a photo through a raised car door window along with insurance and ID cards. Participants will be coached through the collection of their own nasal sample.

Results will be available for review on the hospital’s online portal three to seven business days after collection (online accounts will be created during the registration process).

By order of King County Health Officer anyone who undergoes COVID testing must quarantine at least until test results are known, and longer if results detect the virus.

On March 9, the hospital announced it would offer testing on site. Testing at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital was suspended on March 16 due to a national test backlog. The resumed operation holds the same schedule as when it was first announced.
