Coed tournament to support

Mount Si High School volleyball

A coed four on four tournament, benefiting the Mount Si High School volleyball team, is in the works and planned for fall.

The tournament is planned for 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Mount Si High School. Cost is 100 per team. Teams can include six adults, four playing at a time, and should include men and women. The event includes a hospitality booth with free lunch and a T-shirt provided for all players. The trophy and bragging rights go to the winning team. Full food concessions will be open and Wildcat attire will be available for sale. Application and payment are requested by Sept. 17. Tour de Peaks bike ride

celebrates historic milestone

A summer fixture in the Valley returns once again in 2008. The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital’s “Tour de Peaks” bicycle race is scheduled to be held July 27 on the roads around the Valley. This is the 20th anniversary of the event, which was created to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Snoqualmie.
