North Bend lifts water conservation measures
On Oct. 16, the city of North Bend ended its water conservation ordinance for the year after significant rain fell over the previous week.
An ordinance approved this summer by the city council created the tiered water conservation plan. Each year, the city automatically enters Stage 1 on Aug. 15, which limits certain water use activities.
Stage 2 was triggered on Oct. 6 due to low levels of water in the Chester Morse Lake/Masonry Pool.
