Habitat for Humanity will be holding a free, virtual public outreach meeting to provide an overview of applicant qualifications and requirements for a new housing development in North Bend.

The Zoom meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. March 29. It will include information on applicant qualifications, application requirements and the community application preference period for people living or working in North Bend’s 98045 zip code.

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County is expecting to begin construction by this summer on its new townhome community near the intersection of East 2nd Street and Janet Avenue. Each of the seven 1,250-square-foot townhomes will have three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

The city of North Bend signed a development agreement with the housing developer last July.
