The King County Fire District 27 Board of Commissioners is seeking to fill a vacant position on its three person board.

Fire District 27 serves just over 6,000 people in about 22 square miles in and around Fall City. Its board makes legislative decisions for the fire district and holds board meetings on the second Monday of each month.

To qualify for a board position, an applicant must be a registered voter living within District 27.

Those interested can submit a letter of interest to the board at PO Box 609 in Fall City. Letters must be received by 5 p.m. May 6. Candidates should plan to attend an interview on May 16 at 6 p.m.
