NRM to host steam-train rides Mother’s Day weekend

The following is a press release from the Northwest Railway Museum:

Looking for something special and unique for Mom on Mother’s Day weekend, May 7 and 8?

Let her “blow off some steam” and give her a fun family experience of a steam train ride through the beautiful upper Snoqualmie Valley. The steam train excursion includes the gorgeous vista view from the top of Snoqualmie Falls looking down into the Snoqualmie River Valley below.

You’ll step back in time as you board historic coaches at either the historic Snoqualmie Depot or the North Bend depot. The 1899 Northern Pacific steam locomotive 924 will pull these trains as a special treat just for moms. Don’t wait to get your tickets as these trains sell out fast.

For more information and to order tickets, go to: TrainMuseum.org. NRM Members can call the Depot Bookstore at 425.888.3030 extension 7202 to reserve their tickets. Ticket prices are: Adult $30.00, child (ages 2-12) $15.00, Senior (62 and over) $25.00.
