The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association and the Snoqualmie Fire Department are hosting a drive thru food drive at the Snoqualmie Fire Station from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17.
The community can drop off non-perishable food donations and meet Santa and his Elves as they drive through the apparatus bay at the fire station. The drive benefits the Life Community Church Feeding Kiddos Backpack Program.
Suggested food items include: individual breakfast cereals, mac and cheese, ramen, other easy-to-eat lunch foods (i.e. ravioli), fruit snacks, rice crispy treats and granola bars.
Santa and the firefighters will be handing out candy canes and fun public education bags for kids, while supplies last.
The fire department will also set up a donation bin in the station lobby after the event for anyone that cannot come on Dec. 17.
The Snoqualmie Fire Station is located at 37600 Southeast Snoqualmie Parkway.
