Crystal Werner, Tenille Hockenbury and Shelby Westerlund were named Employees of the Quarter by Keep It Local Snoqualmie Valley.

Keep It Local is a nonprofit networking group of Snoqualmie Valley business owners that encourages local investment. Their quarterly contest asks employers and managers to nominate outstanding employees who go above and beyond. Winners are selected by Keep It Local and each take home a certificate and $250 reward.

“All were chosen due to the exceptional qualities they show in their workplace,” said Stacy Dorn, a member of Keep It Local and Vice President of Business Development at Sno Falls Credit Union. “The dedication they show not only to the employer but to the people they encounter on a daily basis.”

Werner is a coffee manager at Trail Youth Coffee, and was nominated by Executive Director Tonya Guinn.

Hockenbury is a manager at Twin Peaks Nutrition, and was nominated by Owner Sharon Hockenbury.

Westerlund is a teacher at Little University of Dreams, and was nominated by Owner April Littlejohn.

Keep It Local will begin accepting nominations for next quarter’s contest soon. Nominations are open to all businesses in the Snoqualmie Valley, including Snoqualmie Pass. You can submit a nomination at keepitlocalsnovalley.com/community-engagement.
